Onninen

 

Our aim with the Onninen research project was to analyse and provide recommendations for project services to facilitate servicization of Brand Onninen. For Onninen to be able to reach their target audience, they must have a solid brand growth strategy which enables the use of service innovation in itself. To ensure successful growth for Onninen we identified that they must acknowledge service innovations as a part of their brand growth strategy. To be able to bring forth new recommendations and models for Onninen we initiated the project by interviewing company executives from each of their four customer segment. After analyzing the responses that were given by the executives we continued by interviewing customers from each segment.



To be able to transform brand Onninen to a service brand the team came up with four chief strategy recommendations that were presented to executives at Onninen.


1) Gap model of Onninen project services. Illustrates and explains in an understandable fashion the important areas where Onninen lacks in delivering what they promise.

2) PTES score model. A hands-on tool that generates a value on each customer and places it on a profitability axis, hence facilitating profitability analysis on each customer.

3) PTES matrix. Using the PTES score this model enables a company to place its customers in a matrix which enables segmentation of all customer groups.

4) Onninen service blueprint. A service blueprint consists of a set of components that forms a map that visually portrays a service system. The service blueprint that we developed facilitates for Onninen to take a cross- disciplinary, cross-functional, view of a particular service problems since it requires that all service processes is seen from the customer's viewpoint.
