BIG II Growth Seminar with Lisa Nirell

The current economic scenario has redefined the rules of profitability, innovation, and competition for Finnish companies. The BIG mission is to examine how both customer and business value are generated through branding and innovations, and to apply this knowledge to accelerate the global growth and competitiveness of Finnish companies. In order to further the mission's objectives, BIG II team arranged a growth seminar for our research partners in April 2010.



The seminar titled "THE NEW RULES OF GROWTH: FOUR WAYS TO ENERGIZE YOUR BUSINESS AND THRIVE IN THE RECOVERY, APRIL 2010" was a research initiative by BIG II to understand and analyse the growth strategy formulae being adopted by companies post economic slowdown. (Please refer to the Appendix). The chief speaker at the seminar, Ms. Lisa Nirell, is a growth strategy expert and author of the book 'EnergizeGrowth® NOW: The Marketing Guide to a Wealthy Company'. Lisa, with her Customer-focused Growth Strategies, Company Cases and Examples and interactive dialogue techniques focused the discussion in the seminar to bring about Innovative marketing solutions for Finnish Companies. The seminar provided booster steps and growth ideas to the research partners for kick starting growth in the Finnish business arena.


The seminar was successful in achieving its purpose of stimulating growth strategy thinking. The seminar achieved to put back growth through branding and innovations in the forefront of corporate vision for Finnish management. The seminar facilitated a discussion on current Finnish corporate understanding of global growth factors and what are the necessary steps to maintain a long term strategic capital.
